History of European Union

The European Union is the result of a group of leaders wholooked forward to a peaceable, united and thriving Europe. Besides its founding fathers there are several who have strivedhard to uphold the peace and prosperity of the nations whoare a part of the European Union. There were just sixcountries who agreed to partake in the treaty in the beginningbut now it is a powerful Union of with 28 member countriesin it.
There is a long history behind the formation of theEuropean Union. The Union is an emerging power bloc. Thedecisions and changes in rules and regulations of the EuropeanUnion largely affect the other countries of the world too.
