When Galan's ship lands arrive in the atmosphere no one could predict what it heralds. For Jessa, her past is something she can't escape, let alone deal with new and troubling issues. Galan-the Prince of Hesparia-has come seeking an alliance in the hopes of finding assistance with the females of his planet perishing due to genetic manipulations from generations before. Galan is unprepared for the Quickening.
