Halloween is always a difficult time of year, for bookish college student Charlie. She hates parties, but her best friend and roommate Amy is a total party animal. One Halloween, against her better judgment, Charlie agrees to drive across the state to go to a party with Amy, but an accident in the woods leads to a terrifying encounter and a revelation that will change Charlie's life forever.
