Gravity's Fire

First love is magic. Sometimes literally. When sixteen-year-old Phoenix "Nix" Ashwell discovers that his parents abducted him as an infant, nothing in his life makes sense anymore. The adults he trusted are chasing him and unexplainable events keep happening around him. So, he runs away to search for clues about his past, why he has a perpetual fever, and what his real name is. What he finds is Max, a boy straight out of his dreams.
Suddenly all that other stuff takes a back seat to believing he's found his soulmate. There's just one problem: Max is magic. Now, to be with Max, Nix will have to do the impossible and become magic too. It's a good thing he's a hopeless romantic who would do anything for love. But, when becoming magic puts Max in danger, he will still have to do the impossible: choose between the fire of who he is and the gravity of who he loves.
And, as he falls deeper into a world of secrets and lies, what began as a quest to find where he belongs becomes a battle to save the boy he belongs with.
