There is a popular, though false belief today that God has had enough of the Israelites and has abandoned them in favour of the Church. This is commonly referred to as "Replacement Theology". What this means is this. God is saying He no longer wants anything to do with those hard-headed, ungrateful, disobedient, unrepentant, Israelite sinners. He will only deal with the hard-headed, ungrateful, disobedient, unrepentant sinners in the church.
If this is the case, I would say God is just swapping one group of sinners for another group of sinners. One very important thing that we must consider here is this. If God could break the unconditional promises He made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, then He could just as easily do the same thing to an unworthy church. But He will never abandon Israel. God's gifts and calling are irrevocable as we see in.
Rom 11:29  for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable. Christians have understood the promises God made to Israel were all irrevocable. The land God promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob always has been the promised land, and it is a perpetual promise that cannot be broken. Unfortunately, there are more and more Christian leaders who are no longer supporting Israel and are turning their backs on them.
Governments are demanding Israel give up some of their land into what is referred to as a two-state solution. This would be no solution at all, because the enemies of Israel want more than the land of Israel. It is their plan to completely destroy every Jew in the world. This is a topic that will affect the way we view and understand many important doctrines God has concealed in his bible. This book is an attempt to explain some of the important issues that are at stake and the consequences of believing the lie of "Replacement theology".
The relationship between Israel and the Church will continue to be controversial. The big question now is, does the church replace Israel in God's eternal plans, or has God always had a unique identity and role for the nation of Israel.

Biographie de Leslie Rendell

Leslie Rendell has been studying the bible for most of his life. When he is researching a topic, the most important reference book is always the bible. There is no other authority for matters of what God expects from those He has created in His own image. If there is a conflict between the bible and man's thoughts, the bible will win every time. Although he has had no formal bible education, he believes the average bible reader can understand the bible.
Otherwise, how could they ever know what God's will is for their lives? He is retired and now lives in the South West of Western Australia. Apart from his love of the Bible and his family, his other hobby is photography, where he loves to photograph God's creation.
