Vanessa has run a bed and breakfast for years in her small home town in Missouri. When her ex, Grant, shows up after his mother's death, he winds up staying at the bed and breakfast and taking over the vacant position of handyman. Vanessa is haunted by the ghost of Grant's mother, while Grant frequently sees Vanessa's deceased aunt.
