As the west filled with people after the war. Lawless-ness ran rampant for a time but despite popular belief not all of the murders committed were by outlaw gangs, greedy land barons or drunken cowboys shooting up the town. Although most don't believe so there was other monsters there as well. Gabriel Bassett was not your average lawman of the old west. Not one you have probably heard about anyway like Hickok, Masterson or Earp. Still the bad guys he went after were just as bad, just as mean and just as real.
