Richard Nielsen is a freelance writer living in Dallas, Texas with his husband and their miniature dachshund, Heidi. He is a former business owner in the high-end home furnishings industry with design showrooms in Colorado and Arizona. Often, he weaves his experiences from the unique world of interior design into his stories. He is a fine art painter and once owned an art gallery in Denver, Colorado.
As an avid foodie, his love for cooking inspires him to write restaurant reviews often with a bit of humor. His writing style incorporates strong character development with multiple points of view, female protagonists and he likes include a dark humorous side. His hobbies include cooking, competitive swimming, and gardening.
