Flight from Tymer - Peace for Niatheo, #3

Read how the story of Niatheo's Envoy and Nariel's Negotiation continues: Negotiations between Princess Nariel and the Valmyke command continue to go poorly. Nariel is able to keep her emotions in check when word comes in that her father, the King, has been killed, but the angry mob takes over, and Atticus, Simon, and Gron, (their Valmyki escort) are imprisoned. After a successful flight from the planet, the few left alive find a salvageable Niatheonese ship and set to work reviving it.
Atticus and Nariel make the best of their short time alone on the zero-gravity bridge, finding comfort and release in each other's arms. About to make their escape back to Niatheo, a message comes through from Valmyke. They were betrayed, and they are going to be fired on at any minute. Not having any other choice, Atticus uses the damaged hyperdrive system, shuttling them through space and time, to who knows where.
