One of the significant goals of life is to become wealthy while allowing your family to thrive. When we envision the days of riches, we usually don't consider that we may be working.  But, just because we obtain our financial independence doesn't mean we have to quit our jobs. In fact, we may be happier than ever going to work. Having our freedom ensures we get the best possible outcomes (remote work, salary, position) from our work because we are not afraid to walk away. The best part of being "work-optional" is that we can genuinely express ourselves outside of debt and servitude-we work by choice.
