Biographie de John Pagano
John Pagano, Ph. D., OTR/L is an author who presents FAB Strategies® workshops internationally. Kirkus Reviews reported his FAB "Functionally Alert Behavior" Strategies book "offers a worthy program for solving children's complex behavioral problems". FAB Strategies® is a practical curriculum for teachers as well as occupational, speech/language, physical, and mental health therapists that helps improve self-regulation in pre-school children through young adults with complex behavioral, developmental, and sensory processing challenges.
Dr. Pagano has over 35 years experience as a pediatric occupational therapist working in sensory integration clinic, pre-school, school, group home, adolescent psychiatric hospital, and adolescent forensic settings. Dr. Pagano is a part-time faculty member in Occupational Therapy at Quinnipiac University and member of the American Occupational Therapy Association School Mental Health Working Group, and website with extensive free resources at www.fabstrategies.orgDr.
Pagano is certified in Occupational Therapy, Pivotal Response Treatment®, Neuro-Developmental (Bobath) Treatment for children and infants, Early childhood Mental Health, QST® sensory massage for Autism as well as being a Teacher of Positive Behavioral Support and Breath-Body-Mind. He conducts clinical research and maintains a full time clinical occupational therapy practice specializing in pre-schoolers through young adults with complex behavioral, Autism Spectrum, and other developmental challenges.
