It's been 10 years since the gruesome murders and mysterious disappearances of a group of friends in the small town of Lanhallow. Shaken, he races from the tent unable to concentrate on what he was just told. Then almost in front of his eyes, his daughter Emily is taken from him only to be returned with a familiar description of the kidnapper that terrifies him and Karina. Jason returns to work, overhearing a group of his students talking about the Lanhallow murders. He is shocked to hear the new version of events that are now being told.
