Escape From Paradise

Max arrives in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, excited for a life-changing archaeological dig, but his dreams are shattered when his money, Mac, and passport are stolen within 24 hours of arrival. Stranded and desperate, Max remembers his mother's warning about being cautious in a foreign country, a warning he had ignored in his excitement. Determined to find a way out of his predicament, he attempts to deter potential threats by pretending to record a live video, narrowly avoiding trouble with a local policeman.
Just as Max starts to find his bearings, a mysterious figure-a man in a battered cowboy hat-catches his eye. The man's presence is both unsettling and intriguing, hinting at either danger or salvation.
