Timbrell, an expert archer took odd jobs for the King, who had a special assignment: to hunt and kill the giant spider Grobhandle. He opened its cocoons, finding treasures of gold. In one of its cocoons, he came across Luna, a beautiful elven girl. She was trapped there for eight months. He would take her home with him, to his wife's disapproval. Human women and elf girls were notoriously combative.
