Down, But Not Out

So many people are going through tough times. Some people are responsible for their own troubles - they cheated on their partner; it was their drinking or drugs that did the damage; it was their anger that caused them to lash out; it was their excess that got them in debt; it was their lack of control that got them pregnant. Others have done nothing to deserve what they are going through - you're the one who was cheated on, the one who has to care for the loved one who is ill, the one who is left with the bills and the one who has to live with the shame.
