Robin Macy is a data technician more comfortable in the virtual world than in the real one. Shy and mild-mannered, she shows her true skill when her online boyfriend desperately sends her a file then vanishes. When she shows her skill trying to track him she attracts attention and ends up kidnapped by a charismatic sociopath with expensive tastes who forces her to commit data-theft.
