Debt and Self Sufficiency

Debt is the result of everything we don't do for ourselves. Most people in the world have debt levels that match their assets or nearly. The problem with this is: we are vulnerable to economic fluctuations and personal problems. Another problem is that we are paying a substantial amount of our income on interest. Shakespeare said. "neither a borrower or lender be." If you add up the hundreds of thousands of dollars we are paying in interest, direct and indirect taxes in our lifetimes you will see what a nightmare scenario, living in the 21st Century is.
Debt is also directly related to our spiritual and love states of being. If there is little love in our lives either from the Universe or family and friends we appear to have no choice but to spend, spend and spend.
