Kerrie thrives in a world where vampires and shifters reign supreme, penning stories of true mates and unbridled passions. With a sassy flair, she pours her heart into crafting tales that'll make your blood race. But Kerrie isn't just about brooding creatures of the night! She also loves jamming out with her band. Her passion for romance books began in kindergarten, scribbling her heart out with a crayon.
"Jane was reading a book in the library when Adam came in. She looked up...", you get the idea. Growing up in the lush Pacific Northwest, she and her brother Chris had their fair share of adventures. Years later, Kerrie introduced the world to sexy vampire lover Serena Zane-her initial pen name through her short stories. Now, she's busted out into with her real name, putting a sparkle in her mom's eye, writing novels.
Kerrie writes from the seat of her pants, participating in sprint writing sessions and Nanowrimo each November. While she does like to plot out her books, her characters often take her off on completely differenct paths. She loves to research her subjects and learn about new subjects, history, places, and so many other things. The South Beach Crew series has bolstered her passion for big cat rescue through her research into the rare jaguars in Southern Florida.
Her ultimate goal is to serve up steamy stories for PNR addicts, filled with strong plots, memorable characters, and plenty of passion. When she's not writing, Kerrie enjoys hanging out with family and friends, binge watching crime shows with her husband, Gary, playing with her dog Strider, her codependent Bernese, who also serves as her service animal, and her cat, Schrodinger, who thinks he is a parkour expert.
