Biographie de Elena Artemeva
With over 20 years of teaching and coaching experience, Elena has worked as a university lecturer, English teacher, IELTS and CELPIP trainer. In 2016, Elena came to Canada and got a TESL Certificate from the University of Winnipeg. Her firsthand experience as a non-native English speaker allows her to understand the challenges faced by international learners and know precisely how to help you overcome them.
Elena has worked with students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds worldwide, empowering them to achieve their language goals. In Winnipeg, she taught an original course on intercultural communication for international professionals funded by the Government of Manitoba.
Along with individual and group teaching, Elena has developed online courses and self-study guides for English learning and testing.
As a communication coach for international English speakers, she addresses common obstacles like language barriers, cross-cultural communication problems, shyness, and stress.
Elena has a Master's Degree in Journalism and English Language, a Master's Degree in Psychology, and a TESL Certificate.
Elena's expertise has been recognized by winning The Canadian Alice Munro Short Story Contest in 2022, highlighting her exceptional storytelling abilities in English.
