Biographie de Gabrielle Stewart
Gabrielle Stewart is a brilliant teenage girl who, just like Codi, wants to become someone great one day. She is the president of two chapters of the National Society of Black Engineers: the chapter at her school and a local chapter at the Patriots Technology Training Center. Very active in her school community, she is the head of the National Honor Society's In-School Committee and an engaged participant in several clubs in school, including Girls Who Code, International Thespian Society, and the Theatre Department.
The recent recipient of the Maryland Affiliate Rising Star of the National Center for Women & Information Technology Award for Aspirations in Computing, she is also an AP Scholar. Gabrielle is a high school senior in a Science & Technology program who simultaneously takes college courses at a local HBCU. She plans to major in computer science. It is her desire to inspire youth to pursue STEM courses and careers.
To that end, she has taught coding workshops at a local elementary school and hosted STEM games for underprivileged youth. In addition to "Codi Can Code and You Can Too", she is also the author of "That Star Spangled Banner: The War, the Flag, and the National Anthem", written when she was just ten years old.
