In the year 2093, the Rogare Institute, a government-mandated organization, provides prospective parents with the perfect child. To hold a surrogate position as a gravidari is regarded as a high honor. Erin Murray hoped to go unnoticed by the gravidari institute until she was viewed as unserviceable. Of course, a tour of duty was better than being sent to the research lab as a live specimen to further genetic studies. Quinton Dane has served four tours at the institute and is familiar with failure. Three years ago, his mandate ended badly, and he swore he would never return. Personally chosen by unknown propagates, Quinn and Erin must produce a perfect child. Erin never expected her body to respond so willingly to a man, and Quinn never expected a woman to entice him so easily. The institute may monitor their progress, but Quinn and Erin have changed the rules they live by.
