Bridesmaid Duty

A one-bed, forced proximity, second chance love story. Bridesmaid duty will cost my heart.  I love my bestie. I do. So much so that when her dream Montana Big Sky wedding venue was canceled at the last minute, and the replacement site was a remote ranch, I insisted on going to ensure her big day wasn't a disaster.  But what I didn't know was who owned the ranch and that he was on-site nursing a baseball injury. Blaze Malone, the groom's brother, the Best Man, and my secret crush since high school.  The only man whose kiss I can't forget. Granted, it was because of the Megatron Kiss Cam.but still -heart-pounding perfection.  But this isn't about him.
This is about my best friend's wedding. He was kind enough to offer his ranch. The least I can do is hide my panic and be civil. We're friends, not enemies, after all. We can do this together without getting together.  But then I discover there is only one bed in the cabin. He's as fun as ever. His shirtless habit hasn't changed. And he's bottle-feeding a baby colt.  For sure, bridesmaid duty will cost my heart.
