Black Mirror

Kaska is an exile, with psychic powers and a bad reputation, an outsider even to the criminal clan who adopted her. She is recruited by the Colonial agent Fiskar to be part of an expedition to find Kursk, a scientist lost in the desert. A previous rescue has already failed and they were Marines, guided by Swann who was once her lover. Kaska, who stopped caring about anything when she lost her beloved sister, now searches an enigmatic alien labyrinth for answers; the reason for the war in the stars, for her exile, for the truth of her very existence.
Kaska must descend into darkness and stare into the Black Mirror.
