A story of adventure and action. Wagon trains of the 19th century carried the families and their belongings across the wild and difficult terrain of the United States. Captain Jake Cooper and his lieutenant friend Sam Boyd hire on as gun hands to protect one of these wagon trains. Their journey starts in Richmond, VA in May of 1865 and end up sixteen hundred miles away in a startup town called Union, TX. The journey is not easy and filled with danger from mountainous terrain, raging rivers, storms, wild animals, and worst of all Indians and those who rob and kill.
