Doc Kit Johnson has to figure out why she is on a hitlist. it all begins with a breach at her warehouse for her biohazard level four lab. Twist and turns await her as she has to place all the pieces before a major outbreak can happen. She found herself the one being hunted instead of her looking for something to hunt. When a situation arises she has to play dead and leave her life in the hands of someone she barely knows.
Mitsuhide has watched Doc for years now but he kept his distance not wanting to taint her. When he is the only one she has to to turn to he lets down his guard long enough for her to see tot he heart of him. Hoping that they find something that could last between them they have to work together to figure out the threat to her life. They also have to figure out what they want from each other. All they really know for sure is the answers that await them are only found in one place.
They have to go into the chamber to find them all.
