Beneath the Mask - Carnival Dreams

Olivia has come to the Big Easy with her friends to escape the heartache that haunts her at home. Her need to be in control at all times, to force the world to comply with her plans, has hindered her happiness and threatens to derail her much-needed escape during Carnival. Ben is on a similar flight from sorrow, hoping that the revelry of Mardi Gras will at least numb his pain after failing once again to seize the object of his desires.
He has hidden his passions from the world, even from himself, and the slumbering desires in his heart fill him with long. Madame Diseur-de-Vérité has gifts to mend both their hearts, if they can only find a way to connect on the crowded streets of the French Quarter.
