Writing was not something I ever thought about doing.  My major in college, many moons ago, was Political Science and I have been in the corporate world ever since (except when I took eight years off to be at home with my two girls.)  When my girls were 4 and 7 we decided it was time to have an addition to the family, so we got a dog.  This was smack in the middle of our Disney princess phase and that is why my dog's name is Belle, after Princess Belle in Beauty and the Beast.  It was during this time that I realized I had a creative side that needed to be developed.  I love watching the wildlife in my neighborhood and that is when the idea of writing stories about my dog and her interactions with other creatures came to mind.  I wanted to write about the creatures that my dog meets and the curiosity of discovering that we all have a unique perspective and something to offer to the world. I currently live in Charlotte, NC with my husband, my two daughters, and my dog Belle.
Favorite quote:  From my parents, "You are my favorite middle child, " or "You are my favorite redhead."  Side note:  I was the middle child and I was also their only redhead. Favorite food:  Anything sweet, well maybe anything savory.  Okay, so I like food. Favorite color:  Purple Favorite flower:  Peonies
