It was midday, and most people had fled the hot beach for the air-conditioned indoors. But my wife Sandra and I had decided to stay outside, under the shade of the palm fronds over our beach bed. The resort was adults-only and clothing optional, so we were lying naked side-by-side with our legs intertwined.
