Kid Toussaint, born in Belgium, is an author and translator who has also worked in the audiovisual sector. His specialty, it's safe to say, is comics, with an impressive and quickly growing collection of successful series. With Dupuis alone, his portfolio includes the collaborative project "Magic 7" (Europe Comics in English) as well as "Télémaque" ("Telemachus, " Europe Comics), a Homerian reboot created alongside Kenny Ruiz.
And in 2019, this list is set to grow further with "Kid Noize, " about the Belgian DJ phenom of the same name, and "Animal Jack, " bringing to life a young boy who just happens to be a shape-shifter, both published by Dupuis (Europe Comics in English). His most recent work includes the groundbreaking "Elle(s)" (Le Lombard; Europe Comics in English), alongside artist Aveline Stokart.
Miss Prickly is the pen name of French illustrator Isabelle Mandrou.
After obtaining her illustration degree in 2003 at the ENAAI art school, she started drawing for several magazines and children's publications. During her career, she has worked with publishers like Fleurus, Grund, and Hachette. She was the artist of the first seven volumes of the series "Mortelle Adèle, " written by Mr Tan and published by Éditions Tourbillon. For Delcourt, she also illustrates the series "À Cheval!" alongside writer Laurent Dufreney.
Her latest work, the children's graphic novel "Animal Jack, " was published by Dupuis in February 2019, with a script by Kid Toussaint (Europe Comics in English).
