All That and More…

Follow their gripping saga, as two friends survive this monster of a war which engulfs half of the world.  From Palestine, Gallipoli, to that appalling meat-grinder of Fromelles, they come through alive, where uncounted numbers have died.  Like millions of other physical survivors, they would carry the mental scars forever. Yet as the war grinds to an end, of the two, Valentine Preston has a plan; a keen budding artist, he decides to follow his destiny in Europe, taking his de-mobilization from the Australian Imperial Force in England.
 Bill Truscott, still restless, is not ready to return to civilian life.  Bill volunteers for the British Expeditionary Force to be sent to Russia to fight against the Bolshevik insurgents. The two friends part: their lives now spinning off into fantastically different directions.  But the stories of their separate fates are eventually brought together: to a satisfactory conclusion in London.
