After the Fire

The fallen angels burned her world. They killed her parents while she watched. Now one of them is her prisoner. The human resistance nearly killed him. She saved his life-because she has her own plans for him. But not revenge. Revenge would be easy. She wants something more dangerous. She wants to save the world. This short story is 2500 words long. It was originally published in 2013, in the short story anthology  The Adventure of Creation.
