Though medical science has come quite a ways in the intervening years, there remains stigma and challenge associated with the HIV disease. In this hard hitting text, we are left to ponder what about us. How would we endure such challenging circumstances. There is teaching here.

Perhaps there is still hope, if we begin to look at HIV/AIDS through the eyes of those who have been there.
