A marriage of convenience. An enamored wife. A callous husband. Yu Sun-ha fell in love with the handsome and powerful Choi Do-ook at first sight, so when she discovered he was looking for a wife, she proposed to him. Although she marries for love, he marries out of necessity. She thinks him perfect while he thinks her perfectly controllable. As such, they sign a contract to live as little more than roommates, without expecting any emotional attachment. Sun-ha dedicated her all to it, fulfilling his sexual desires and bonding with his family, while never once letting him know just how much she loves him. When the contract comes to an end, Do-ook offers to continue their relationship, leaving Sun-ha with a difficult choice to make. For three years, she submitted her heart to him, and now she must decide whether she wants to claim it for herself. Without self-love, love in any of its forms is rendered mute.
