Jake decides that he needs a vacation, and Becky agrees that she and her son, Paul, should come along. They decide to head out to Las Vegas since Angelo had told them to visit. Before they do leave, Jake wants to explore the basement that he didn't know was under his house. Becky discovers a skeleton in a trunk and they find out that the original owners may have been cannibals. Now is the time to get away.
They arrive in Las Vegas and are greeted by Jim Richards and his wife Penny. Before they even get to explore, there are a couple more murders and Penny isn't happy. The next few days are busy with solving the murders and exploring the city. This is the fifth book of the novella series.
