Fiona is an older, forty something lesbian top. And one night, on a trip to her favorite watering hole she catches sight of a young street walker, Cinnamon, that causes her heart to skip a beat. At first, the relationship is all business and Cinnamon lets Fiona know the clock is running and her time is expensive. The encounter elicits a strange attraction between the two, different generations, and the two plan to leave their old lives behind, and head to a small town in northern Michigan.
A place that stirs up mixed feelings from Cinnamon, as she has a very hard childhood there. Fond memories of the old hometown are few and far between. While staying in a quaint Bed and Breakfast, the two go through some odd challenges to their relationship, and it seems the new found friendship may be in danger of dissolving prematurely. Fiona fears that Cinnamon will return to her life on the street and is soon overcome with grief.
