With the arguable exception of Brad Pitt's casting as The Sexual Life of Robinson Crusoe (Lien -> http://www.olympiapress.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=102)), A Beside Odyssey presents a revised Ulysses (of "The Thousand Shots"), and his many romps with nymphs, goddesses, thousand-holed sirens, and of course Circe. The work is also notable for an hysterical preface by Girodias himself, and some great alliterative titles, like The Nymphomaniacal Nymph. You have to really love Homer to write a book like this, but you'll be glad Michael Gall did.
