Roney Green was a young man with a plan. He had recently bought a small farm in the Granada region of southern Spain and fallen in love with a girl from Kharkov in the Ukraine. Undauted by either the huge distance he'd need to travel, or the fast worsening weather conditions he set off to meet her in a relatively new Land Rover he'd recently bought. Even in the best of times it was one hell of a distance to drive and this was far from the best of times.
