Biographie de Elgee Penman
Mr. Levon S. Galstyan (Elgee Penman) is co-author of more than 50 analytical
and educational publications, co-founder of a dozen companies and
organizations, has been engaged in idea generation and development of more
than 30 innovative and technology based products, and is in a professional
sphere for more than 25 years.
Currently a Creative Mentor and Co-Founder of WHIZ Innovation
Entrepreneurship Academy; he is also one of the co-founders at Global AM.
Recently a Vice President and Deputy Director at Technology Science
Dynamics, Mr.
Galstyan has been Head of Technological Innovation, Business
Consultant, Project Manager and Coordinator in private business and
international projects, including UNIDO, USAID, AEPLAC, EUAG, UNDP, WBG,
UNCTAD/WTO, Climate KIC and VOCA.
His latest civic activities list includes - Climate Launchpad Armenia (Board
member, Mentor), New Technology Education Fund (Head of the Board of
Trustees), Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP Judge), Imagine Cup
Armenia (Jury Member), Armenia Startup Cup (Jury Member) and IT
Development and Support Council of Armenia (Board Member).
Actively working on startup/entrepreneurship development ecosystem in
Armenia he was active involvement in organization of Climate Launchpad
Armenia, Mergelyan Creative Club, National Business Ideas Competition, 1st
World StartUp Cup Competition, Armenia StartUp Cup Competition, Imagine
Cup Armenia, The best Armenian Startup of the Year, Digital Solutions for an
Innovation Economy, Product Camp Yerevan, etc.
Mr.
Galstyan has also worked at Forbes Armenia as an Advisor to the Chief
Editor, at E-Armenia Foundation as an Executive Director, Yerevan Scientific
Research Institute of Communications as a Deputy Head of the Laboratory and
Senior Associate of Science. His working experience also includes Armenian
Development Agency as a founder and Deputy Director.
Mr. Galstyan holds MBA, BE degree in Systems Engineering, Bachelors Degree
in Technical Translation (English Language) and Certificate of Harvard
Kennedy School in Science Technology and Innovation Policy.
