SHARON STEUER has taught computer imaging in art schools and training centers throughout the country. Her paintings and computer illustrations have appeared in numerous books and magazines and have been exhibited nationally. She is a recipient of the Faber Birren Color Award and a Windsor Newton painting award.
STEVEN GORDON is a cartographer specializing in city maps and terrain images. Prior to founding his business, Cartagram, Gordon worked as a systems engineer on an automated mapmaking program, designing user interfaces and writing technical and user documentation.
SANDRA ALVES bas been a designer for over 15 years, first as an illustrater for the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine. She now works at Adobe Systems in the User Interface Design group. A contributor to several books, including The Illustrator 8 Wow! Book and Design Essentials, 3rd Edition, she has also taught workshops and classes on several software products, including Adobe Illustrator.
SANDEE COHEN has been training in the field of desktop publishing for over 12 years. She is the graphics coordinator for the New School Computer Instruction Center in New York City. She is the author of several Visual QuickStart Guides and is the co-author of Real World Adobe Illustrator 9. She has used Illustrator since 1988.
